Welcome

I am a French CNRS permanent staff researcher in Cosmology at the ''Centre de Recherche en Informatique, Signal et Automatique de Lille'' (CRIStAL). I am also an associate researcher at the "Institut d'Astrophysique Spatiale" (IAS) in Orsay (South of Paris) and a guest researcher at the "Leibniz Institut für Astrophysik, Potsdam" (AIP). I work at producing the tools and the knowledge required to reach an accurate precision cosmology in order to test the standard cosmological model.

Research Interests

Simulation of the Local large scale structure today

Simulation of the formation of the Local large scale structure

To understand dark matter and energy, large cosmological surveys are designed to reach a few percent precision on cosmological parameter measurements. To be fully exploited, this large quantity of data needs to be analyzed in light of cosmological simulations. Preliminary analyses brought out tensions between the standard cosmological model and observations. Reaching a 1% precision on cosmological parameter measurements, do systematic errors due to our cosmic environment, survey and tool particularities rise out? Analyses need to be fueled with a new type of cosmological simulations designed to reproduce our cosmic environment. Such simulations, that I named CLONES (Constrained LOcal & Nesting Environment Simulations), provide a robust methodological framework to minimize the systematics. Unlike typical simulations used in the scientific community, their initial conditions are constrained with a set of observational data. They thus reproduce our local environment today.t

Mediation
I am always available to introduce Research and my research work to a large number of persons. Please contact me if you are interested.

You will find below some examples of my actions:

- Benevolent vice president of the association ''Un Peu de Bon Science'', I organize every year an 'astroweek' (namely a week with astrophysics as the object of focus) for high school students.
- I am a role model in the ''Science Taille XXElles'' project. This is a joint-organized project between the 'Femmes & Sciences' association, the French CNRS and the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon.
- In 2021, I co-organized ''la nuit est belle'' in Lyon surroundings to extend the event created by ''le Grand Genève''. This project is dedicated to sensitize the public to light pollution harms. It thus consists in switching off public lights for one night.
- I am always prompt to participate to different conference-debates as well as to give public lectures.
